Welcomed Weather

We've seen rain regularly during the last couple of weeks, which has been highly welcomed after dealing with drought conditions for the last couple of years. Our gardens are definitely soaking it up, and our pastures are bright green. Unfortunately it means we have to mow them more, but at least they are yellow and bare like they were turning this time last year.

  1. We have had way too much rain and the irony is fruit trees I established during the drought have died due to too much water. It's heart breaking it's almost made me want to give up

    1. Oh no!! I'm sorry to hear that! We planted two apple trees last year that seem to be doing well. Yesterday we got drenched from Tropical Depression/Storm/whatever (I couldnt keep up with the level lol) and one of our apple trees sat in several inches of water for most of the day. Luckily our flooding drained away quickly, but I'm worried that our corn was too heavily damaged.

I have a virtual open door policy for thoughts and suggestions, and I'd love to hear what you have to say!
