This past weekend, we took a trip to a neighboring town to deliver the goat milking stand that The Boy made for a friend. We've been talking about getting a goat or two for a long time now, and having the chance to spend the morning playing around with these friendly critters was enough to make us start finding our way to getting our own.
The Boy likes to rate the importance of something living on our farm based not only on it's practicality, but also highly on it's comical value. Which means goats are an easy shoe-in. Not only will they help us with some much needed jungle clearing in the woods, but we may also eventually use them for milk. And of course they make him laugh...
