DIY: Recycling Plastic Signs

Recently, a random tree service put their roadside plastic sign on our property without asking permission. I took the sign down and considered it a donation to the farm... and shortly thereafter, I had it repainted and put back out on the road.

Farm Eggs for sale is a lot more appropriate, don't ya think?

Not that I condone swiping up those plastic signs on metal step-in stakes that businesses set out everywhere, but if you find yourself playing host to one on your property that you didn't approve, just know that they take paint very easily if you lightly sand them first. ;-)

  1. Good idea! If I ever see that sign by the side of the road I'll go grab some eggs. I do enjoy custom signs, they add a nice bit of attitude to your surroundings. My favorite place is the baton rouge signs. Thanks for the ideas. http://diezsigns.com
