Newly adopted Barn Managers

About two months ago, our old barn cat Caswell disappeared. For him to leave the barn and wander is very unlike him, so the chances of him returning are quite slim.

Even though old Caswell seemed quite lazy, we soon found how well of a job he was doing while he was with us. Not long after his disappearance did we start noticing mice in the feed room of the barn. With storage of horse & chicken feed, we can NOT be providing a free buffet for area rodents.

The reality of the situation was that we needed to track down some new cats to fill in the position. We opted to adopt these two five month old boys from a rescue. They were already neutered and vaccinated, and after a few weeks of waiting, they were delivered to our farm yesterday.

So here are our new Barn Managers. We are still working on names, but I'm currently calling them Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. Seems fitting, so we'll see if it sticks.
