Set up the sprinkler in the chicken pen for the evening in hopes of making it less dusty and bare. There's no rain forecasted for at least the next week so we're watering when & where we can as needed. I'm thankful we installed an irrigation hose in the gardens this year, it has helped a lot. As for the horse pastures... There's not much we can do right now. The grass is slowly dying and we're rotating the horses on pastures to minimize the grazing damage. Droughts are a slow, painful thing. Grr!
