We're slowly adding permanent plants to the farm that we will benefit from for many years to come. Adding to our blueberry bush collection was high on the list this season since of the two we had, one was eaten by a horse (thanks, guys...). We've now closed off the front pasture from the hooved critters to protect our five new blueberry bushes. Not sure how much we'll get off them this year but since they are already good size plants, hopefully next year's harvest will be a good one.

  1. I planted blueberries last year and was so excited to see what this year's harvest brings. The plant nursery guy told me that they might not produce this year, I will be so bummed if that is true. I was so excited to see that they made it through the winter so I really hope that we get some.
