Birds hatching everywhere

We have a ton of birds around the farm (I guess our dozen or so bird feeders scattered around make for a nice buffet) and with that we have babies hatching everywhere. Three boxes are full of baby Carolina Blue Birds in various stages, and their young will come back next season and nest in the same place. Cardinals and Blue Jays are starting to bring their fledglings to the feeders, and it isn't unusual to uncover a hidden nest of sparrow eggs in the barns when you least expect it. The boy found these over the weekend in his shop nestled between a random assortment of tools. The nest is made up of horse hair, which always makes me happy. Nature's recyclers at work!
